Rene Ugarte is an experienced attorney in Social Security Disability, Worker’s Compensation and Personal Injury Law. Rene graduated from Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts. After several years in the workforce, she attended the University of Kansas School of Law. There she focused on advocacy for underserved and indigent populations. This commitment is best illustrated by her prior roles of state public defender, worker’s compensation claimant representative and social security disability.
Rene returned to Kansas City last year from Colorado, bringing her talents and enthusiasm for public interest law with her. Rene loves working with clients and helping them maximize their benefits. She easily explains complex cases to clients and works diligently to ensure their success.
In her free time, you can find her at home with her cats. She enjoys art, the outdoors, and film.
